The CMI Level 5 Certificate in Management Consulting Practice is designed to help managers, project and programme leads, internal consultants and business partners build the practical consulting capability needed to diagnose problems, influence stakeholders and deliver measurable improvement.

The course combines two units, covering both the role of a management consultant and the practical skills involved in planning and delivering consulting assignments. Together, these units develop an understanding of the role and behaviours of a professional consultant, alongside the practical skills needed to plan, deliver and evaluate consulting assignments.
The qualification is suitable for practising consultants as well as managers, project leads and change professionals who use consulting skills within their organisation.
Progression Opportunities
Upon successful completion of their qualification, Learners are able to progress to further learning within the suite of Level 5 Qualifications in Management Consulting – for example, completing an Certificate and topping-up to Diploma.
Learners completing this qualification may also wish to progress onto the Associate Chartered Management Consultant (AChMC) Award.

Assessment
Learners work towards the CMI Level 5 Certificate in Management Consulting Practice. To achieve the CMI Level 5 Certificate learners will be required to complete two 4,000 word written assignments. Assessment should evidence the learner’s ability to apply consulting theory, tools and techniques to an organisational context, including the diagnosis of business problems, stakeholder engagement and the structuring of consulting activity. We will support the learners through this process
