Fantastic opportunity for a consultant with a background in Information Assurance and Information Security to join us as we are experiencing strong growth with key established clients in UK Law enforcement, UK government and overseas agencies and we are well recognised within their sectors.

As an Information Assurance and Security Consultant, you will provide support and guidance and be expected to identify, resolve risks and issues in delivery projects across Central Government

The role will also be responsible for providing internal development of process and procedures to maintain the existing ISO27001 accreditation and to clients to develop, manage and maintain compliance to government standards.

What are we Looking for:

• Degree or equivalent in cyber security and/or CCP/SIRA/CISSP/CISM/CRISC or similar
• Demonstrable experience in Risk Assessment, able conduct security risk assessments, business impact analysis and accreditation on complex information systems.
• Demonstrable experience of Risk Management, able to plan and implement complex and substantial risk management activities within a specific function, technical area, project, or program.
• Demonstrable experience in Audit & Review, able to lead and manage on complex audits and programs of audit activity, such as ISO audit compliance to implementation of audit requirements for protective monitoring.
• Demonstrable experience in Security Architecture, able to assess and document the impacts and threats to the organisation. Create reports and shares knowledge and insights with stakeholders.
• Good understanding of GDPR, able to provide expert advice and guidance on implementing personal data legislation controls in products, services, and systems.

Head office is Milton Keynes but the work they typically deliver is for secure clients – several of the assignments are London and Cheltenham based. Since we are a Consultancy business, you must retain a level of flexibility around travel for this role.

Due to the nature of the work and clients you work with an active SC clearance or SC clearance in the past is essential for this role.
